Tinted windows

  • Damage assessment

    One of our professionals will inspect the damaged area to determine the severity and extent of the damage. They will assess whether the damage can be repaired or whether replacement is necessary.

     

  • Cleaning the damaged area

    Once the assessment has been made, we clean the damaged area to remove any debris, dirt or dust that could affect the repair.

     

  • Injecting the resin

    We then use a syringe to inject a tinted glass repair resin into the damaged area. The resin is designed to blend in with the existing tint of the glass, for a discreet repair. It is cured using a heat source, usually an ultraviolet lamp. This helps it adhere to the glass.

     

  • Sanding and polishing

    After the resin has cured, the repaired area is sanded to smooth and polish the surface for an even finish. We take great care to ensure that the colour of the glass is uniform across the entire surface.

     

  • Final inspection

    Once the repair is complete, we inspect the repaired area to ensure that no further damage or defects remain.
